University of Dhaka Management Department Welcomes 32nd BBA Batch

DU's Department of Management held orientation for its 32nd BBA cohort, introducing academic expectations and student organizations.

The Department of Management at the University of Dhaka held an orientation programme for its 32nd batch of BBA students on 12 April 2026 at the Prof. Dr. Abdullah Farouq Multipurpose Conference Hall of the Faculty of Business Studies.

Prof. Dr. Mahmood Osman Imam, dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, attended as chief guest and spoke about ethics, self-development, and academic focus while encouraging students to balance coursework with co-curricular activities. Duke, chairman (Bangladesh region) of Jack Technology Co Ltd, served as special guest and highlighted that his organisation recruits a significant number of Dhaka University graduates.

The department chairman presided over the event and stressed the importance of developing communication skills and participating in departmental activities. Student organisations including the Management Debating Forum and Management Club were introduced to the new cohort. Two students from the batch shared their expectations and experiences during the programme.
