Samsung Bangladesh launched the RF59, its first French door refrigerator with integrated AI technology, at the RANGS eMART showroom in Gulshan-2 on April 7, 2026.
The refrigerator features a flat-door design with 649-litre storage capacity and AI Energy Mode, which automatically adjusts power consumption based on usage patterns. The appliance supports SmartThings connectivity, enabling users to monitor and control functions via mobile application, while Power Cool and Power Freeze functions deliver faster cooling performance.
Shahriar Bin Lutfor, head of business for Samsung Bangladesh's consumer electronics division, attended the launch alongside executives from Samsung and RANGS Industries Limited. The company positioned the RF59 as a solution combining global refrigerator design standards with intelligent technology for modern kitchens.
