RFL Group has inaugurated a showroom for its electric scooter brand RYDO at Rupayan Shopping Square in the Bashundhara Residential Area of Dhaka. The facility was officially opened by RN Paul, Managing Director of RFL Group. The showroom displays nine RYDO electric scooter models, with prices ranging from Tk 55,000 to Tk 146,000, alongside promotional offers including cashback of up to Tk 13,400 and complimentary gifts depending on the model selected.
According to RN Paul, the launch responds to the growing global demand for environmentally sustainable and cost-effective transportation solutions. "The market for electric vehicles in Bangladesh is expanding rapidly," Paul stated, adding that RYDO scooters address the need for accessible commuting options in both urban and rural areas. The scooters feature modern designs, high-performance motors, and extended battery life, with an operating cost as low as Tk 0.11 per kilometer.
Shariful Islam, Head of Marketing for RYDO, indicated that the company's expansion strategy prioritises accessibility in the capital's key commercial areas, with plans to establish additional showrooms across Bangladesh's districts. This initial phase targets urban markets before expanding to secondary cities, aligning with the growing adoption of electric two-wheelers in the South Asian region.
