Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden will host a grand Pahela Baishakh celebration on 14 April 2026, offering guests an immersive cultural experience centred on Bangladesh's Bengali New Year traditions.
Pahela Baishakh marks the first day of the Bengali calendar and ranks among Bangladesh's most vibrant cultural celebrations. The event brings together people from all walks of life to embrace their heritage through traditional attire, music, folk art, and authentic cuisine.
The celebration takes place at the hotel's poolside and Utshab Hall, featuring traditional Bengali dishes including Panta-Ilish, bhorta, Chotpoti, Fuchka, Pitha, and desserts. The venue will host interactive activities such as fortune telling, balloon shooting, bioscope shows, henna art, face painting, a jumping castle, and magic shows for guests of all ages. The space will be decorated to reflect the vibrancy of Bengali heritage.
