Paperless Limited inaugurated its new online payment gateway on December 18 at a convention center in Dhaka.
The payment gateway operates as a Bangladesh Bank-certified Payment System Operator (PSO), addressing the need for secure digital transaction infrastructure. Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank Md Tasfiq Newaz stated that Paperless will advance the online payments landscape, while former City Bank chairman Md Shoeb Ahmed and Managing Director Dr Nazrul Islam emphasized transaction security as critical to the platform's success.
Paperless integrates with Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, bKash, and Nagad, enabling global customer access. The platform offers a 50% discount on standard charges during its launch period. Managing Director Dr Nazrul Islam and head of business Arnob Aditya Mamun highlighted expansion into remote areas as a key priority. Customers can register via www.paperlessltd.com or the Paperless Limited Facebook page, with additional customer facilities to be announced shortly.
