Nagad, the mobile financial service arm of Bangladesh Post Office, has partnered with re-commerce firm Swap to launch the 'Choice is yours' campaign, enabling users to earn bonuses of 10% to 30% on transactions involving used goods.
The partnership allows Nagad users to buy and sell pre-owned items including cell phones, laptops, motorbikes, furniture, and cars through Swap's platform. Swap's pick-up staff will collect products from customers' homes in compliance with hygiene protocols.
The bonus structure depends on withdrawal timing: customers receive 30% (maximum Tk 30,000) if they transfer funds within 30 working days; 20% (up to Tk 20,000) after 15 working days; and 10% (up to Tk 10,000) for immediate withdrawal. The campaign runs through August 31, 2021. Swap CEO Parvez Hossain emphasised that used goods retain value for consumers in need, while Nagad CMO Sheikh Aminur Rahman highlighted the partnership's mutual benefits for both buyers and sellers on the platform.
