KFC Bangladesh, operated by Transcom Foods Limited, organised an 'Eidi for Angels' programme for underprivileged children during Ramadan. The event was held at a KFC restaurant in Dhaka, where children attended an Iftar meal served in a specially decorated setting.
In addition to the meal, participants received educational materials and gifts including books, notepads, pencils, colour palettes, Rubik's Cubes, Ludo sets, puzzles, carrom boards and chess sets. The initiative aims to provide support and joy to disadvantaged children during the holy month.
Amit Dev Thapa, CEO of Transcom Foods Limited, stated: "It brings us great joy to organize an Iftar and present gifts to underprivileged children through this 'Eidi for Angels' initiative. As part of our commitment to the community, KFC Bangladesh will continue to undertake such initiatives in the future." Transcom Foods Limited has operated KFC Bangladesh as the sole franchisee since 2006 under licence from KFC International Holdings LLC, USA.
