The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has appointed Nahian Rahman Rochi as Head of Business Development, reporting directly to the executive chairman.
BIDA seeks to strengthen its senior leadership team and enhance Bangladesh's investment climate. Rochi will lead efforts to advance investment opportunities and improve the business environment to attract global investors.
Rochi brings extensive international finance experience, having served as Finance Director at British American Tobacco Rothmans in South Korea and held leadership positions in Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh. He holds a bachelor's degree from the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Dhaka, along with CIMA and CPA certifications.
